Chalet JoJo's own garden splash pool is fantastic fun in the summer for both children and adults!! 

There is also the choice of swimming in the pools (Morzine, Thonon) or lakes (Montriond, Les Gets, Anthy, Sciez, Evian, Thonon etc ...).

LAKES

There are many mountain lakes but some, have marked swimming areas:

Lac Montriond can be swum in but there is also a smaller lake that has a life-guard and a picnic area. It is free to swim. Les Gets Lake also has a life guard. It has a small slide for the children and costs 2-3 euros per day. Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) has many swimming areas dotted around from the family orientated to the secluded. Most are free but, where there is a life guard, there will normally be a small fee.

SWIMMING POOLS

Beware that in France, both men and women must wear suitable attire - that means NO BOARD SHORTS!!!

Three pools. An Olympic sized pool for mainly adults and 'better' swimmers, a childrens pool that starts at a very shallow depth and goes to a maximum of 1.2m deep and a Kiddies paddling pool with an activity center. Their is also a slide for the children and 'bigger' kids to enjoy!  Restaurant and picnic areas.

Open May to September. Evian Beach is a splendid green space with 3 hectares of lawns and flower gardens at the lake's edge, including two heated outdoor pools, a 160 m long supertoboggan and a lake bathing area. This area features other attractions too : self-service restaurant, pedalo hire, swimming lessons, table  tennis, jumping-ball, volleyball pitches, giant chess board, etc... At Evian Beach, kids rule OK ! A free children'garden is at their disposal, with couches, special pool and games, all supervised.

Thonon Plage
25 minutes drive away is Thonon's 'city of water'. Open from May to Spetember, it has 3 heated swimming pools: 50m, 25m and 12,5m poll with sand. There is also, 300m of supervised bathing area by the lake, multiple diving boards a water slide of 100m plus play-grounds for volleyball and table tennis. AquaParc
The AquaParc is in the Chablais region of Switzerland, apporximately 1hr's drive away. Plunge into the "Caribbean-on-Léman" and discover a magical place adapted for all the family! There is a great atmosphere where you will find everything you wish for from a water park! Aquaparc has 3 different 'lands'... Captain Kids Land, Jungle Land and Paradise Land. Captain Kids Land has a Pirate Ship, Lazy River and a supervised wimming area. Jungle Land is not for the faint-hearted, this is made up of around eight different types of slide from Devils Fall to Tortuga's Hurricane.
