After an initial drop in October, things have been a little mild lately - all that changed this weekend and the snow arrived this morning. Should be about 1 metre by the end of the week... when a few of the lifts open!

Finding ways to cater for people in between seasons! With
the kids into downhill racing, Tahnée and Kaos have been saving for a
few year to get MX bike... we have now found 3 Motocross tracks not to
far from the Chalet so... watch this space as we will soon organise
some trips

Kaos and his ski club took part in the Regional Championships last weekend in Flaine... fun day with over 1400 competitors in 2 catagories - Kaos finished 116th - not bad. If nothing appears below click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5QD1MVZrVA

All the resorts in the Portes du Soleil opened a few of their lifts this weekend. Snow has fallen early this year and this weekend saw the first - of hopefully many perfect powder days! We had to go no further than our local slopes... La Grande Terche for a truly memorable day. Friday/Saturaday, saw the start of the snow so Chevy took Kaos to ski club on Saturday...

It has been snowing off and on for the past week... sometimes heavy and other times just light showers - but, it has been fantastic. Avoriaz and Les Gets opened a few of their lifts at the weekend which made for some great runs in fresh white powder.
