Chalet JoJo is based in the heart of the Portes du Soleil - the largest skiing area in the world offering 650km of mountainous terrain, climbing from 1000m to 2466m, boasting 279 slopes and 204 lifts between France and Switzerland. The skiing area is comprised of 12 linked resorts that can be accessed with a single ski pass.

This beautiful resort offers you a voyage of discovery, fun, adventure, tradition, history and excitement coupled with breath taking scenery.

Our local resort - La Grande Terche - is a Portes du Soleil 'hidden treasure' a quiet place where lift queues are minimal and the slopes are empty most of the year. With its green run, 2 blues, 2 reds and a black it really is a gem.

The Portes du Soleil can also be enjoyed during the summer. Explore the terrain on foot by hiking or strolling in unique, wild and protected surroundings. One does not have to be an avid sportsman to enjoy the mountains, with 24 lifts open in the summer the exploring is made that much easier.

Bikers can take advantage of 380km signposted MTB paths and 9 downhill runs. You and your MTB can tour the whole Portes du Soleil downhill!!
